The hotel was set in a central area short walk to San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Escondido, Carlsbad which was dearer. Loved our spotless rooms with fridge and microwave and the staff were polite.

The staff was very accommodating when I checked in/out and the room very clean. Which also means the non-smoking room really smelled clear of smoke! The continental breakfast was an added treat included in the already reasonable rate. I would keep Motel Mediteran on my short list to stay on any occasion.

It was just a solid selection for a quick break in Escondido with value for price. The room itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Make sure to check the breakfast area early for supplies.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and good. There were waffles for breakfast plus eggs, plus bananas and apples. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay there. Also, there is a nice mexican restaurant around the corner which was great atmosphere.
